Outline
The Quantum Innovation Co-creation Center was established in April 2018 within the Institute for Nano Quantum Information Electronics, the University of Tokyo with the aim of further developing the industry-university-government collaboration that has been developed over many years. In this centre, the Quantum Dot Laboratory and six corporate laboratories at the University of Tokyo work closely together to combine advanced science based on university science, such as semiconductor nanoscience and quantum photonics, with the development of device technology, including laser technology and silicon photonics, and the commercialization technology capabilities of industry. We are promoting collaborative research with the aim of providing an outlet to society. At the same time, we are planning and promoting the Photonics Innovation Collaborative-Creation Programme, which aims to develop human resources and disseminate the results of our research in related fields.
